My name is Duane Granger. My wife Deb and I live in Hudsonville, Michigan. We own a business which takes us across the country doing retail sales at quilt shows. We specialize in military/patriotic items. We have the privilege of meeting many of our military and their families at these shows.
We have four Marines in the family. My son served eight years as an MP canine handler and was based at Twentynine Palms, CA. He did two tours in Iraq. He works for 3M in Saint Paul, MN on the security team. My other son served five years as a CH-53 helicopter engine rebuilder attached to the Third Air Wing based at MCAS Miramar. He did a MEU on the USS Boxer and spent three months in Iraq. He graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is currently working for Pratt & Whitney. My daughter-in-law is currently serving with the Vmx-22 F35 group as a flight equipment technician. She has done one tour in Afghanistan and did a MEU on the USS Makin Island/USS San Diego. My daughter-in-law's father was in the Marine Reserve and worked as a Combat Engineer.
I am participating in the 40th Marine Corps Marathon on behalf of Team Marine Parents to raise funds for the Warrior Support Team. The Warrior Support Team provides support and services to wounded, ill and injured military service members and their families. These Heroes and their families are fighting battles everyday and are dealing with things that we cannot even imagine. They have given so much for you and I. Can you please help me in supporting these Heroes and their families?
Thank you for supporting the Warrior Support Team.
