Debbie is a life-long Wisconsin resident and comes from a family of Marines. She was a Marine's sweetheart during Vietnam and later married him. She remembers first-hand how our military was treated during those turbulent years. That is why she feels strongly about supporting The Care Package Project™ and wants to make sure it never happens again. Debbie also participates in the "Knitting for Marines" helmet liner program. Her first shipment was delivered to the Marine Corps Museum at the 2008 Marine Parents Conference. Currently her nephew, Cpl. Jacob, is with the 3/1 Weapons Company.

She has 4 grown daughters, 2 grandchildren and one more on the way. As a grandmother her knees are not what they use to be, so long-distance running is tough, but so is the time our boys spend in Iraq & Afghanistan.

Her goal is to raise $500 for the Care Package Project. She said "If I double my goal, I will double the distance!"

Goal $500 Raised thus far: $165
